Hi all,
We have had our bus about seven years and love it. Financial problems are forcing us to sell it. I need to know the best sales sites. I am on a lot of them now but could always use more. The bus is a '65 Silver Eagle. It was converted in 1993 by Lynn Scharf in Scapoose, Oregon. He got it from somewhere in New England around '85 or '86. It is beautiful. As soon as I figure out how to do it, I will post some pictures. I just replaced the engine (8V71R) with a rebuilt that only has about 3500 miles on it. I added a new compressor a couple of months back. I will send pictures and more info to anyone interested, if they e-mail me. My e-mail is: jack-allen@cox.net The bus and I are in Mesa, Arizona
I had the price in this post but took it out cause I just learned that that is a NO NO!
Yep that was a good looking Eagle Lynn had, post it on the Eagles site or BNO both are free, it will be gone from here very shortly when the guys see the price kinda of silly to me but I didn't make the rules.
Your 69 price may be a little tough for you to get I know where there is a 01 that looks as good and has a 8v92 and 35 will buy it since we are on a roll why not post prices lol
good luck
Allen,
That looks like a sharp bus. Problem is, with the market tanked on buses, I doubt you will get 69 for it. I am sure you have way more invested, but the market is really bad.
FWIW
John
The market for a 01 Eagle is really in tank as there are no suspension parts available any longer nice buses they ride better than 5,10,15 or 20 Eagles I'll do my best and try to help him sell it no guarantees he will get his asking price, there is a guy in the Scottsdale area looking for a Eagle he prefers a 102 wide.
I think he will have better luck posting it for sale in the Eagles Mall we get a lot of lookers and buyers www.eaglesinternational.net (http://www.eaglesinternational.net)
good luck
Too bad you can't advertise it in the Bus Conversion Magazine. Whatever that is.
