Title: CLeaning midland pure air plus dryer
Post by: mikelutestanski on June 03, 2012, 04:39:54 PM
Hello       Doing maintenance on the midland grau   pure air plus air dryer. Found the inlet side with lots of gray gook.   Combination of water and oil I guess.
I have the rebuild kit but I need to clean the bottom inlet out.  THe directions say no aeromatic solvents so that lets out most . I wonder if a water rinse and air blow dry would do the trick?
   Regards   mike

Mike,, do not re-assemble with out replacing the "turbo valve" in the bottom of the unit. This valve is the source of most problems with the Midland, and this valve has been upgraded to a better design.<<<Dan
