It shouldent be rusty,a 4106 is aluminum all door pieces can be had at decent prices.
I would snap it up, it is a wonderful bus,at least mine is!
NOT SO FAST!! The front and rear caps are STEEL on an 06..(unless its been converted with fibre glass) Most all else is aluminium,<<<Dan
Odd the bay doors are good but the front rear and engine doors are have some blemishes

Looks like surface rust to me, if you don't buy it I will?, the door looks a little bent but you can get a new skin or a take off door from one of the parts houses.
Eric -
What's the VIN on this 4106, that might be a clue to where it's spent a lot of it's service life. PD4106-XXXX.
If not on plaque on dash in entryway stairs, then stamped on frame rail inside exterior compartment under driver.
FWIW & HTH. . .
;)
search the back /front corner for a rebuilt tag on engine. probably covererd with grease..

We started out looking for a MCI5, but found a 4106 instead. It just seemed right. Had it for about a year. Love the way it drives and for a bus as that say it's the sports car of buses. If you don't need the room the 35' fit is perfect for us.
