Title: Shock absorbers
Post by: opus on May 15, 2012, 10:17:15 AM
I'm going to start with replacing the front shocks.  Recommendations on shocks?  Right now it has ArvinMeritor 85302 shocks....never heard of them.  The bottom of the shock is terribly floppy on the bottom of both shocks.  They bushings dont even look like the right ones.  Unless someone knows where I can find some bushing to put in there.

Yeah, we checked it, its all good.  Talked to a handful of BB mechanics.  They said when I figure out the tire wear thing to let them know...lol.  One guy said up the air pressure to 115.  It will take the heavy traffic off the outside of the tires.  They all said they have wear like this.

I like Bilstein shocks.  They did not make them for the 5a, so I used Koni.  They are expensive but did improve the tracking.
