Our Eagle has stains where the gutters have run down the side. We read that you shouldn't buff the aluminum. We bought some aluminum wheel cleaner but it doesn't even touch the water stains. It looks like the stains are actually in the metal. Any ideas on how to get the stains off or fix it without buying new siding?

Not much hope that I know of. We have original alum siding and it shows stains and discoloration. It's part of the nostalgic look! ::)
Once it's through the anodizing all the protection is gone. Some have had luck with applying WD40 or similar to help give the illusion of giving it's life back.
