I am getting my 04 ready for winter in Ohio and tested my antifreeze and it tested 0 degrees F. I think it should be down around 30 Below F. Any Ideas how much I should take out in order to add antifreeze to get down to 30 below F ? I am not sure how much the whole system holds. It's a inline 671 w/ blower. Thanks for your thoughts in advance.

According to the 4104 maint mainual the capacity of your cooling system is follows;
Engine, raditor, pipes etc. - 56qts.
Heating system - 18qts.
Total 74 qts.
When we operated GM's with operational heating systems, we would drain the system at the beginning of the season and add 10 Gal. of Antifreeze and the systems were a bit bigger than your 4104. That would take up to about -30 or so, and was roughly a 50-50 mix of water and antifreeze.
If your cooling system is original including the heating system, then I would go with 10 al. and if the heating system has been removed, cut down accordingly.
