Title: Returning from Limbo
Post by: Ncbob on May 02, 2012, 01:06:10 PM
Hello to my old friends and greetings to the new ones. It's been some time since I've contributed to the Board oreven read anything here so I'll have to read a bit to find out who the newer members are before I say too much.

Jackie and I are back in NC and due to some health problems and other nonsense hope to be an active part of the discussions again.

It looks like we'll be parting company with our wonderful old MC5A in the not too distant future..age is taking its' toll.

Looking forward to some interesting reading and discussions....

Bob,

Welcome back from Limbo!   :P

Remember, you will always be a Bus-nut....

After you sell the MC-5A, you will just be a Bus-NUT...  did I say that out loud.. ;D

Glad you two are back OK, safe and sound in North Carolina.

Cliff

Welcome home -- its been a while since we were together in Timmonsville, SC.

Sorry to hear the MCI 5A will soon be a thing of the past.  I have missed your post and like U I too have been on the sidelines for a long time - off and on now for some 10 years.

We have been hosting the Bus-Nuts Gathering since the rally Dallas and Cat started in Timmons ville.  Will have the 5th one the 3 weekend of this month at the KOA Kampground @ Exit 61 north of Fayetteville.

Maybe your health situation will change --- U know miracles are still in season.

Welcome home,

Gene

Bob, We have missed hearing from you. Once a bus nut, always a bus nut. If you ever find yourself in my neck of the woods, please give me a hollar and come by. We can have coffee and discuss our mutual nuttiness!

I always wanted to go to Limbo but at $4.00 a gallon, I just couldn't afford it.  Do they have full hook-ups?

Bob,
Welcome back.  Glad you made it back to NC safe & sound.  No awning problems, I trust? It was nice visiting with you and Miss Jackie last February.  Give miss Jackie a big hug from both of us.  Jack

A great big Thank You to all my old friends for the welcome back!

While Jackie and I have had some medical, and old age, problems our hearts have always been and will continue to be with our BusNut friends on this Board.

As our good friend, Jack Conrad, has always said...growing old is mandatory...and growing up is optional...

We've grown up with the help of so many of you and learned so much that it boggles the mind. The demands of getting older are a chore we'll all have to live with...it's not for the faint of heart.

We treasure the years and the friendships we've made here and at the rallies and pray that each day of your lives is a good day.

We'll continue to stay on touch from time to timeand wish you all...Godspeed.
