Its come to my attention that our new bus (still buried in mud) may have a dt360 in it instead of the cummins.... Some research into ward/amtram doesn't show them EVER using a cummins b series engine but instead the Dt360... Can anyone tell me how to tell the 2 apart?
Thanks

Eric -
I'll give this a shot. International engines are usually painted blue. Also, the DT360 only has one fuel filter; a 5.9L B-series will have two.
Take care,
Brad
It probably is a DT 360 in a Ward made in the 90's no need to be concerned it was a great engine it is a wet sleeve engine so watch the antifreeze type fwiw not the po the Cummins people but the DT 360 I liked better the Case/Cummins 5.9
DT360, the Cummins is extremely different in appearance. :)
Well that Dt's got the blues :D
Im pretty sure my starter is on the opposite side as well... When I attempt to get it out of the mud Again today I'll take a peek !!
Thanks all
Eric
I like how they masked off the label on the starter (or applied it after paint)... A stunning contrast of not-colour in an otherwise starkly blue landscape! ;D
Brian
maybe they carefully painted around it to save paint... ;D

You mean those parts weren't painted before assembly? ;)
Oh and of course they couldn't cover the builder/re-builders tag on the starter it would void the warranty! LOL!
;D BK ;D
