This is a bit old....2 years or so but first time that I have seen it. So if it has been posted here before forgive me.
This is a Toyota boxtruck that has been converted into a 2 story transforming camper.
They seem to have a bunch of great pictures and details on how the built the truck and I enjoyed reading through and seeing the engineering they used to put this together.

Great way to take something you can park anywhere and turn it into mobile living space.
Here is an article from TreeHugger -

There are some more mobile living articles down the bottom of the treehugger page that show off some similar vehicles.

I have seen the unicat conversion, but not the two story unit, that is way cool.

I remember seeing and being impressed by that conversion a while ago. I'm a firm believer in trying to avoid conventional, copy-cat thinking with our conversions - even in (what should be) the free-thinking world of home-built bus conversions, there are too many people around who believe - and constantly preach to others - there is only one 'right' way of doing everything.
There's a company just down the road from where I live that build mobile exhibition units of various sorts. They do a lot of innovative stuff, and I believe some of their ideas could be incorporated into bus or truck-based motorhome conversions - if anyone's interested, this is their website: http://www.vipex.co.uk/ (http://www.vipex.co.uk/)
