I Wanted To Give A Warm THANK YOU To John Silver And His Crew Out In Florida.
I Bought A Eagle ( 84 Model 10 ) Out In Aligator Country And Wanted The Bus Just Looked Over And Greased Before I Made My 2000 Mile Journey Back To Denver Colorado....
My Friend Gave Me His Number And On My Way There I Had A Blow Out On My Outside Dual. I Called John And He Got Me Hooked Up SUPER FAST.... And What A Great Price.
Once I Made It There To Johns I Was Almost Half Dead.... Starving, Sweating And Strait Up Sick !! John Silver Really Took Care Of Me. Let Me Hook Up And Get Some Needed Rest. He Was Very Nice To Me. Thats Hard To Find These Days At Alot Of Shops.
Anyway.... I Met Some Really Good People There. Kinda Felt Like I Belonged There. Really Didnt Want To Leave. I Stayed For Two Days. John Let Me Tinker On My Bus And Get More Aqanted With It....
So...Thats My Story.... Thank You John And Your Crew For Your Warm Hospitality Or Is That Shopatility...
10-4.... Thanks Buddy.

No surprises there!
John Silver and his dad, Wynn, have a well-deserved reputation for helping those in need, at a decent price, doing good work, and being hospitable throughout the process. The fact that both are devout and long-term Bus Nuts themselves is partly to account.

Just what you would think of a good old NC mountain boy and his son.
That is the way all of the native mountain people are. That is the reason I love these Blue Ridge Mountains.

Nice review! Tried to find them on google but no luck. Does someone have a web address or street address? I looked for central florida bus shop
I will attest to all that stated! We bought our Eagle from Wynn and would recommend the Silver's shop for anyone in that area needing work. All out great people!

Only 2 places i know allow us full-timer's to stay in our home. Central Florida Bus at John's place in Lakeland, or Choo-Choo's in Chattanooga. I've had work done at both. They're both good and accommodating.
Central Florida Bus at John's place in Lakeland has had the chance to be a shop, or a friendly shop. They've always bent over backwards to be helpful. And they attend the bus rally every year in Arcadia. Good Folks! And recommended!

Not taking anything away from these 2 shops but don't forget Camp Luke. They're pretty hospitable too.

Thanks for the recommendation.. we're still bouncing around Central FL (Tampa next week, Orlando after that) and have a list of upgrades we're considering. Might be giving them a call to see if they can help out.
We loved Choo Choo, so good to know there's an excellent resource for us here too.

Cherie,
You've met Mr. Bowen & Joel already.
Now you owe it to yourselfs to get to know John & Wynn Silver of Central FL Bus Repair.
As a matter of fact you may have already met them without knowing it. They attend Arcadia every year and I'm sure even if you weren't formally introduced you probably saw their coaches, or them running around on a jacked up golf cart with the company name on the sides of it. (they usually park near Ace & Susan's big gold Prevost)
Once you meet them and know where they are you'll still need to visit "Camp Luke" @ US Coach up in NJ and meet Luke & his crew!
And not to forget Gene Russell in NC too!
Then you will have met the four most popular bus shops in the East half of the US that actively support us busnuts!
(there are others, but these guys are the most well known and really do support our hobby and deserve our/your business to support them!)
