hey people. need info on the best way to attach a trailer hitch on my 87 prevost.
Given that it's a Prevost, I would call them on the chance that they have some advice for an older coach. There was a recent thread about a gent who upgraded the hitch on his Prevost to 20K capacity, or similar - maybe you can find that thread.

Really depends on what you want to pull. Best is to call prevost. Stock engine cradle is only good to 10,000 lbs. Most coaches are not even rated. My 89 came with factory hitch. Bob
Call Prevost they may still have some available but not cheap, $1000 but it bolted right in with no problems. I couldn't find any one in my area that would build one for my 89 so I just bought one from Prevost.
Didn't the gent who did the cradle upgrade still have his old parts? Would they fit? http://www.busconversions.com/bbs/index.php?topic=22972.msg252608#msg252608 (http://www.busconversions.com/bbs/index.php?topic=22972.msg252608#msg252608)
