Jim, are those wildfires coming your way?  It looked pretty bad on ABC News tonight.

Stay Safe.

Thanks for all the concern on the boards and to all the others that have called.

We are about 9 miles north and a bit west of the fire area. US 285 is between us and would be a good fire barrier.

So for now we are safe. However, the whole area is very dry and the temperatures and wind is much higher than normal.

Monday, late afternoon, my cell phone got a reverse 911 call and text saying that we were in the mandatory evacuation area. Several folks got the same call. No one is sure why some of us got the call. Needless to say, it got our attention.

I got to thinking after I got the call; I had the bus on the jacks/jack stands so that I could service it before our next trip. It would only take a few minutes to get it down, but that would be a few minutes less to get things ready to evacuate.
