Back home after a 2100 mile trip used about 1 gal oil/not much on toad and one exhaust gasket. Other than that no excitement. Last trip for a old friend. The 89 will soon be in someone else's barn. Me I go in for back reconstruction soon it was decided while on this trip and kept me from visiting and enjoying life. Will be like a old 2 stroke :just roll a new set of bearing in and keep on bussin. So will be around while my bus building is on hold to bug all. Bob
Welcome home, Bob! Sorry to hear that exhaust gasket kept giving you trouble on the trip back, but glad you are safely returned and that the bus performed well all the way home. I'll be giving you a call to talk schedules soon.
John
Home already? Wow seems like you just left like a month ago!
Glad the trip went relativity well with only the minor exhaust gasket glitch.
Well I know you've been avoiding the back surgery for a long time, but it sounds as if it's time to "get'r done" so you can start enjoying life without pain & misery!
Keep us posted.
;D BK ;D
PS Do we need to make sure the Dr has some straight CF2 40 W to top you off with when finished sewing you up?
Good luck with the surgery, Bob, and see if you can get 'em to service your air dryer while you are there. Tell 'em it's mostly hot air... LOL
