Title: simple solutions
Post by: robertglines1 on March 22, 2012, 03:56:41 PM
Though we might share simple solutions to agrvating problems:  Cabinet draws coming open while turning corner--solution   small wood wedge on bottom that catches frame below.  just lift slightly up to open.; catches on frame if you don't lift up. simple non mechanical. wedge so when you shut it just rides up over frame. Oil on toad ?              Come on guys--several new guys here what might seem natural is new to them  quick check!!! air box drains are designed to be open at idle and close around 900 rpm . If they stay open you might see a film on your toad. They are check valves. They can be cleaned with solevent and reassembled. Just make sure you put them back together the same way they came apart .  Bob

Coach won't try to start?

Check the rear control panel in the engine room.

Air system froze up this winter?

Parking brake misbehaves, even so much as once in the warm weather?

Heed buswarrior's advice and do some air system maintenance during the warm weather so it doesn't go wrong next winter, and you crawl around freezing/frustrated and unable to go camping.

You knew I'd get this one in...

Engine cranks happily and ejects copious  quantities of white smoke - check that the emergency shut-off flapper hasn't decided to randomly close.  Mine did it twice, long enough apart that I forgot what to look for and had to come here and ask...
