Title: torque lbs exhaust bolt
Post by: robertglines1 on March 20, 2012, 11:13:02 AM
*8V92  Don't have my books with me. Someone have it handy?  My new gasket is leaking at fast idle. I don't want to climb down on it to hard away from home.  Bob

30 - 35 ft lbs, which is not a whole lot for a 7/16" nut on a stud.

Don't break her, Bob!  :)  I hope you're enjoying Florida before the trip home.  Will be talking to you soon.  Get me a shot or two of the engine compartment and genset while you're poking around back there -- a good excuse to use your new camera!

I thought 30 - 35 was too low.  I put a lot more than that on mine.  I will update my manual with the "service bulletin"   ;D
