This is one of the upgrades that I would like to do in the near future.
Now for my question. Can you take a set from an 8 cylinder and put them on a 6 cylinder I have a 6V-92 and travel the west and have found that the jack would come in handy at times.

Sure you can John I like to use 2 masters and 1 drone on each side of a 6v92 instead of 1 master on each side that leaves you with just 2 extra drones and Paso good luck on finding the Jake caps for a 2 valve head

good luck

Thanks
That is what I thought but had to ask. I am not sure but thought I saw your old bus heading over the summit from Elko to Spring Creek on Friday.

Thanks John

Luvrbus  I thought I had very good luck when you said " I think I have a set  in my shop somewhere " :):)

I just thought if your shop is anything like mine they would turn up eventually :)

Remember when you find them let me know :):)

It will be like having a savings account you never knew you had :)

Haven't gotten that far into cleaning yet Paso but working on it did find a old 2 valve head in the shop for a 8v71 or 4-71 but no caps on it.

Paso,

A few years back I bought a set of caps from Craig Craddock 4104-765 Lemoore, Calif. He said that he had 1 more set.  Here is his email craigc@hughes.net

Good Luck,
John ;D
