While researching something else, I thought I'd highlight the offerings from Bendix.

The Bendix Document Library has 133 pages worth of indexes alone. Multiple languages Spanish and French too.
In the upper right corner, you can increase the size of the text.
There are some Bendix You-tube videos of newer things.
There is a parts cross referencing application.
The Bendix Brake School courses can be found under the Service and Support tab at the top. Courses are being held all over the place. $300 for three days, and they feed you lunch too!

The manuals they give at the school are worth 300 bucks IMO but don't waste the money going if you think you are going to gain a lot of knowledge about the DD-3 and SD-3 brakes we got 5 minutes maybe lol
Yes, when it comes to DD3, we busnuts are going to be on our own.
I guess there's a project in this somewhere.

I'm planning to go to the Bendix training class in Chicago in June. I have spring brakes so it should work out better for me. I was trying to find another air brake training class closer to home, but it looks like I am out of luck. The Bendix class looks like the best one anyhow.
All of the mechanical bits are universal.
All the inspection criteria for the mechanical bits is the same, and very important, perhaps more so, because if the mechanical bits are out of spec, and you don't know it, then which system you have will be moot: it won't stop.
Whether you have DD3 or spring systems, matters less than the pneumatic theories that may be grasped by attending?
And then reading about DD3, and catching on, may be quite easy?
