Looking for source for lp gas regulators need a couple 7# for my heating system,got the numbers for the two places Clifford posted a while back, will call first thing tomarrow,want a backup plan.
Also looking for toe kick heater source.
Heading back to North Dakota in a week or so, probably going to be needed.

The toe kick heater you have Matt is a Cadet brand # UC101 easy to find www.ventingdirect.com (http://www.ventingdirect.com) the regulators needs to be 2 stage type regulator Wirco sells the heater for almost double the money lol

Needs a remote thermostat, but I did not purchase the one sold for this unit. Instead, I bought a small, and inexpensive thermostat at Home Depot.
I was worried about using toe kick heaters due to some of the horror stories concerning overheating and fires. This QTS-1100 unit will shut down if it over temps. I would assume the likely cause of that is fan failure and the heating element gets too hot.
From personal experience with toe kick heaters, they are prone to pulling in dust at the floor level (pet hair comes to mind). Some of the dust gets trapped and will be fodder for a fire. That's why I wanted a unit that has a removable front cover so throughout the heating season I can get down on the floor with a vacuum to pull out the dust cooties.

Heaters may be one of the highest liability items. Good ones will have some sort of safety shutdown. I have two very old ones that have fusible links that "melt" at assigned temps. These links do not reset, but require replacement. Getting to them means opening the heater up so, hopefully, dealing with the problem. Low air flow is likely to be the most common issue. Toe kick heaters are really nice in how out of the way they are. Unfortunately, the are great little vacuum cleaners also.
