I ran an ad on CL last week saying I was starting a bus conversion and am looking for interior and related items. I was surprised by the number of responses and the number of people with late model rv's they are parting out and I had a couple of guys who had conversions started and wanted to bail out because the project had sat so long it was too much work to get it back on the road. I picked these items up from and oil company that purchased a 2010 Kenworth Toter-home and gutted it for oil field related duties. http://claspics.com/w8lm85c/gyw3aa9h/ (http://claspics.com/w8lm85c/gyw3aa9h/) The tanks are 75 gallon, the love seat is electric, couch folds into a bed, all of the drawers and door have nickel finished hinges and pulls, seat belts, water pump, and its all new take outs! The shop foreman thought it was in his way so needless to say I bought it all for about half what you would buy the couch for. For those of us on a budget it was a great score. Going to look at a 2006 Norcold fridge tomorrow. Black, works, $150 if I pull it, cant wait! Apparently its a great way to find conversion items, good luck.
Now, there's a good news story from a resourceful busnut!
Sellers' perhaps re-frame your introductory words along this line of thought?
There's always another way to leverage things on the internet!
happy coaching!
