Title: Somebody save this bus
Post by: Charley Davidson on February 19, 2012, 12:43:07 PM
My bus has been sitting for almost 2 years now not being used, I would like to see it go to a person that would use it & not let it just rot away. If it doesn't sell SOON I'm gonna start parting it out and scrap the remainder of it as I think I can get much more out of it that way than I'm asking for the bus. You can see pics here http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.248348895248382.58472.115149178568355&type=1 (http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.248348895248382.58472.115149178568355&type=1)  Pm. Email or call me for details

Why has it sat so long? Something wrong with it??

Its so sad seeing these things get abandoned like this, but most of understand, at least I think we do. I would advise you hold out long as you can, and make sure it runs and drives, even if it means asking a bit more. I know the buggers arent worth much, but they are worth a lot more running.

If your done working on it, and if it wont run and drive, before you consider parting it and scrapping it, consider dropping your price further? The parts arent worth so much, and they arent worth a whole lot in scrap.

Just buy the coach, trade the engines and re-sell.

Send Charley a PM up there in the tabs.

happy coaching!

It's sad to see these mechanical marvels suffer the fate that so many seeem to be headed towards. Unfortunately our ole 4107, Freebird is soon heading in the same direction. After over two years of full timing, she found her way home to Florida from Colorado last Apirl and hasn't seen any use since. We're planning to remove appliances and fixtures first, then liquidate to rest. She would make a nice project for someone with her spray foamed shell, new tires, and airbags. We also have new window seals and some other parts for her.
