Title: Somebody looking for an Eagle?
Post by: grantgoold on February 16, 2012, 11:34:46 PM
Found this Eagle in my neck of the woods. Doesn't look too bad for a graying Eagle!

Good luck!

Is it "normal" for the speedometer bezel to look like that on an Eagle? Not to mention the  upper rear side clearance lights.  I think i would need to take a very close look before bidding on this one.

That looks like a remarkably original Model 05 except for removal of the Z-Bar siding which makes it look like a '74 or later.  It certainly has seen it's share of high humidity and probably suffers from the typical church bus syndrome.  It's a Belgium bus and if I were a younger man and closer to it, I would take a serious look.

There is why you don't attach a trailer hitch to the bumper.  What were they pulling????

That is a Trailways bus came from Houston Tx  not bad for the year you can tell a Trailways Eagle the siding will be missing under the windshield that is where the banner was the mileage is no where close more like 2 million.

Would be a nice restore project for somebody I have a seated Eagle from the 70's still has factory AC and heat and the windows in the rear open those on that bus are not original

   good luck
