I have a set of new shocks but don't know what they go on all I have is a part number and no mfg. name. Any way to look them up.
680323
690029
Made in Canada
According to my 2007 Gabriel Shock catalog, 690029 seems to match MCI among probably a few others and crosses to 85700 series front\rear shocks.
The 680323 comes up if it's also got a 0300 at the end as is# 6803230300. This number is apparently for a Freightliner custom chassis and Sterling. In Freightliner it matches a front shock and apparently crosses to 85006.
I'm NOT a counter guy so your mileage may vary and if you base it on my info you may well be left in the desert out of fuel and no BCM magazine to read either.
I got my Gabriel E-catalog via a link here on this forum but I did a search and can't find that thread now. Contact me with an email addy if you want it and I'll send it to you.
Hey Chart1,
Here's a link to Gabriel's Shock Catalog. http://gabriel.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/06/Gabriel_Heavy_Truck_Application_Guide.pdf (http://gabriel.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/06/Gabriel_Heavy_Truck_Application_Guide.pdf)
Your numbers are in there.
Happy hunting!
