a bunch of labels on my lights are worn off and trying to figure out what each light is for.
here is a picture for reference of what lights I am referring to.

They're outlined on page 5 or 6 of the operators manual. If you don't have one, you can often find them on ebay. My copy is badly worn on that page and I can't read the right edge.

I have read all the manuals they have listed and must have missed this one..
last time I drove the bus I noticed the "gen" light was coming on when I had the bus heat on.. does that mean that the batteries did not have enough juice to run heat and start bus?
the manual says: when that light is on then the gens are not charging... so would that be my batteries not getting enough power or alternators not pushing enough juice to batteries?

What did the voltmeter say? It will tell you if the alternator is charging or not. Normal charging voltage is 27.5 to 28 volts.

sorry to say not sure.. but I am replacing batteries this year so I will watch and see what it says
loose belts.

low water
bad blower motor(s)
weak voltage regulator
bad alt/gen
bad battery(ies)
