Title: Treadle valve
Post by: fraser8 on January 26, 2012, 10:06:59 AM
This morning the air on the bus was down to zero. Check for a leak and I found air escaping from the bottom of the treadle valve. Is there a campsite fix or do I need to get a new one. I'm just south of Lincoln City Oregon

Thanks, it's 62 degrees and the air is coming from the bottom of the valve. I can slow it down a bit by turning the screw on the bottom but not stop it. I'd hate to lose air on the road

I smacked it with a hammer and the leak stopped. I can get another one from Newport Diesel, a couple of hundred miles up the road.
