I found this bus on craigslist local to me. It was advertised as a project but almost ready to go. It is not. It has some bad (IMO) rust up front and the caps have both leaked for years (big holes). The windows also have leaked for years. I tried to explain to the owner as nice as I could that this didn't need to be on the road and that it should be sold for parts. He thinks it's saveable. Anyways, I believe the bus could be bought in the $6k range. It has some new low end appliances, a diesel genset, a 8v71, 4 spd manual, aluminum wheels, and the tires have good tread but I bet there very old. It also has a furnace and central air of some sort.
I figured that someone might be able to use the parts and scrap the rest. If there's interest I can give the guys contact info to you. The bus is located in Muncie IN. He is asking $10k but it's not worth it IMO unless you could use the parts.
Eric,a 69 model will be a 05 or if a wide body (102) will be a 07 fwiw
