Bk, what is the chance we can have a get together at your place the first of SEPT. Do you think we could get the use of the lot next door and have the power to mow and treat for tic's. Maybe cut down a couple of trees and set up an eating area on the back of the property.

That will keep us off your property and out of your way and still let the dogs have a hay day.

I think that is possible. We can park our buses down the street @ the stock yard and free up our lot as well. (stock yard is only used on Tuesday every week)

Are we talking about Aug 31st, Sept 1st & 2nd or Sept 7th, 8th & 9th?
Either will work for me an as you know early arrivals, late departures are always welcome too!

Have doing some work around the place too.

Right now things are tight for space as we have been working on the pit. Got the bay emptied out (except the air compressor), the end wall off and roof reinforced @ that end.
Yesterday we started excavation and got a shock. As we found under the dirt, gravel on the surface less than a foot deep, there was 2-3 feet of sand. And it's a real very fine sand.
We knew there was sand around the foundation on the shop, but had no idea there would be 2-3 feet of it.
And it's not just normal sand for this area it's super fine like found the gulf coast beaches.
Most of the day yesterday was spent digging down to a solid surface & taking the sand out.  (still not done with that yet.)
Once we get our solid surface we'll dig the pit, form it up and pour it.

I need to get with Clifford, Wayne or some of our other construction experts and find out about building my cage (the size and design of re-bar) and the mixture & slump of the concrete. (I know it's been discussed, but my memory ain't so great)
