OK I know where an '84 Eagle Model 10 is for sale in West Tennessee.
It's not my bus and I have no financial interest in it. It belongs to a small local college. And they have decided to sell it rather than pour a bunch of $ in to it & still have an old bus when done.
It has a good running 6V92/740 combo starts right up as you hit the start button and very little smoke.
The body is not in bad shape, and neither is the inside.
I have not yet been under it to know what the suspension is like. But it sits pretty level.
Now for the known bad. OTR A/C is in bad shape and they don't want to spend the $ fixing it the right way. (but many converters yank it)
It has some exhaust leaks that need fixed.
It has interior lighting problems. (again most likely would be yanked!)
Every nook & cranny is just plain filthy! (lots of soap & water will fix)
They don't know what a fair price to ask for it is as it was donated to them in the first place. I told them I'd throw it out here and see what kind of offers/opinions I get.
The $ will go to the college.

To any one looking this is a fairly solid coach. Might be worth you time to take a gander at it if an Eagle is in your future.

Ned, I am still in cal working. I think it is a good thing the three of us are not together causing trouble. I don't think our ladies would like that much. If I can I would like to put together a get together at Bk's some around the first of Sept. This year. What do you think could we get anybody to show up.

Ned, Nice to here from you. We need to get permission to use the lot next door, then mow and treat for tic's, maybe cut down a couple of trees and make an eating area. If I can I will get there the weekend before and do some work so we can set every one up. I am thinking about angle parking around the perimeter back in front out towards the canter. Kind of like an RV park.
