I'm not sure I understand your question.

If you need Internet access for your computer while mobile, you need to use a 3G cellular modem -- there are no in-motion Internet satellite systems.  If you want Internet access by satellite while you are parked, there are several systems on the market, but they are expensive.  They come up for sale on the used market frequently, though, as 3G cellular coverage expands.

For 3G cellular, I recommend Millenicom, with several plans, modems, and options available to suit your needs.  If you will spend time in marginal coverage areas, I would also recommend a cellular repeater with roof-mounted antenna, such as those sold by Wilson.  Typical costs are $100-$200 for the modem, $40-$70 per month for service, and $150-$200 for the repeater if needed.

For roof-mounted satellite, the original .74 meter Motosat dishes are the ones most often found on the used market.  I've paid as little as $300 for a complete system; new ones start at $5,000 plus installation.  You will want a system with a D2 or later controller.  Don't worry about which modem it has, because the required HN7000 series modem for HughesNet is readily available on the used market.  You will then need an official VAR to complete the installation and set up the service.  Service costs $60-$300 per month depending on bandwidth.

check the for sale section at www.datastormusers.com (http://www.datastormusers.com) on the bbs. the older F1 systems pop up somewhat regularly for around $500 and up. The G74 usually is quite a bit more since they are only a few years old now.
