I'm thrilled to be going to the rally next week in Arcadia. This is my first rally of any type. In almost ten years of RVing I have shyed away from organized RV type events. But my love of buses is making me excited to be going to this one. Looking foward to meeting those that are going from this forum. You can't miss my red/white H3... Joe

After Arcadia, you're gonna wonder why it took you so long to get involved with busnut rallies!
Have a good time, keep your eye out for Buswarrior and the live video feed machine, thank Jack & Paula for originally starting this (now) New Year's tradition, and thank Bill & Brenda for taking over the helm. But above all, HAVE A GOOD TIME!
FWIW & HTH. . .
;)
I am also glad to be able to make this years event, have made 4 in the past with the MCI 7 with the 12V-71, bu7t this year will be driving a store bought Foretravel, please do not throw the empty oil cans at me.
Hope the catch up some of the CCO gang, been away too long.
I'm jealous, I'm miles and miles away and won't be able to attend. Have fun! Takes lots of photos.
Kwaj Diver!
wg4t50, you be sure to identify yourself to me, please.
I want to talk 12V71.
I will be the one with Canadian duty free beverages, and shooting the live video...
happy coaching!

Buswwarrior, Great, am hoping for a good showing of the old CCO gang, seems a lot of them are from your area, maybe George Brook will make a showing, Anyway looking forward to the get to gether again. Yes the 12V-71 was a wonderful project, and had many interesting and funny meetings including Fats Domino insisted I stop so he could have a look see. The 12V caused a stir everywhere, with the RTO910 it must have been the most photographed MCI engine compartment. Of all the crazies I have done, that was by far the best of the best.
George and Marg visited one of the days last year, but they don't/didn't have a coach anymore.
There will be a CCO meeting there sometime during the rally, as well a Great Lakes Converted Coach chapter meeting.
No doubt, lots of old friends to catch up with.
happy coaching!

Buswarrior, Dont be surprised if George & Marg, show un in another 4104, last I heard they have a winter trailer on a pad at Zephyrhills, Would be great to see them again, and all the others.
George can fill you in on the MCI with the 12V71 etc.
I leave this evening for a slow gentle vacation trip.
I can't make it this year. I am saving a week's vacation to go to the Bendix air brake school in 2012.
Hi, Im in the learning process before buying my first bus. I am local to Arcadia event, can I just drive over and meet you guys? Do I need to buy a ticket somewhere?
My plan was to show up for the open house on the 31st
Thanks
Todd
You are welcome any day. there will be aprox 25 coaches there on the 26th, and more everyday, the rally has always been open to the general public to come in and enjoy our hobby, open house is normally everyday at a bus rally, its up to the individual bus owner if he wants to show off his handy work, most do, Look for the orange signs in the windows they are officially open house rigs, NEVER enter a coach without the owners permission, most will allow veiwing, There is no charge just to come in and look around, you may join the rally if you want to stay for the music and food events, check in a the regestration trailer at the main entrance, We welcome anyone Wanting, Liking or just interested in Buses,, Bill Rally Host

Thanks Bill I will be there! I am finishing a custom Airstream trailer rebuild with a 12" increase in interior height. I love the Airstream but Im aggravated I cant crank it up and drive it around, so next project will be a bus conversion!
How many this year? Just wondering?
We are looking forward to our first Arcadia Rally next week... thank you so much to all of the organizers for making it happen!
Happy Holidays,
