Title: Parting Out
Post by: akbusguy2000 on December 21, 2011, 11:52:23 AM
Some friends have kind of hit the hard times and have decided to part out their conversion.  Here's a link to the site:

Has the engine had a recent rebuild? LOL. The box could be cut up for firewood...

Is that top glass in good shape? How about handling and shipping charges?

One or two piece door?

Huh!
Akbusguy, that's a very interesting photo. Any story to go with it?

Except for the roof cover which looks temporary, the shed shows top-notch craftsmanship and high quality materials. Material use in the shed's construction seems to be well though-out. Maybe this is one of many skid-built sheds and they're built on the T chassis to be "dock level" for easy transfer onto the truck that takes them away?  ???

The location looks like a large excavation site, complete with  a well-groomed haul road. The T is cribbed level and may have underground electrical service sprouting up at its right rear. Did the T's engine  power some activity at that spot, before electricity arrived to take over?  ???  ???

Is the child on the left leaning against the charred remains of the last shed? Was the burned shed built around a live tree?  ???  ???  ???
