Is NIMCO still in business? I have tried calling the 800 number listed on the website and I get a management company that says please call back during regular business hours.
People call my business on weekends too, and I say the same thing.
Jeremy
They're definitely still in business... and how.
But I'll bet that with today's metal market and business environment it's tough to justify chatting about an old used bus part or two; let alone following through with a long-distance retail sale.
Of course I can't speak for 'em, but I wouldn't be surprised if individual parts sales just aren't a high priority right now.
Ted
Well, I'm gonna try again tomorrow. You would think that if I called at 10am and 3pm weekdays I would have gotten lucky at least once.

Ahoy, JohnVickrey, Richard,
Same result with me on Nimco. No answer. Is there anyone else who sells used 'bus-stuff'?
I'm looking for a used Proheat X-45 diesel furnace. I had some, sold them, and now a friend wants one. Shhheeeessshhhh!!
Enjoy /s/ Bob
I don not know if they have what you want, but I have gotten some things from Direct Machinery Outlet (410 799-9530) in the past.
Bob, Don Fairchild has a ProHeat for sale 1-661-301-4648
good luck
Ahoy, All, luvrbus,
Thank you so much.
I just bought the Proheat from Don, and will pick it up on the way to Quartzsite in January.
Enjoy /s/ Bob
I seem to recall hearing from someone the Nick is no longer at Nimco. Jack
8) Bruce Knee has at least a half dozen of these for sale. 8)
$400.00 each, his number is (302)-Five Four Two - Four Four Six Four.
It's that time of year again, these are the way to go. ;D
I had two of these for sale months ago on the board. No one was interested. Could have had two for $600, use one as a spare.
Jack,
You are correct Nick has left and the contact person I have is Jim Robinson.
800 526 - 8055 Keep calling, It took me 4 -5 calls to get thru and or a return call from Nick.
I purchased a 50 DN alternator from them, picked it up, but that is several years ago. With the spread they had, many acres, I can not imagine them closing. They had buses & buses, and even more traffic within their yard moving scrap etc.
Good Luck,
Gary
