Can the DC model of the Pro Driver with 1.12 software be made to work with a non EGR Detroit engines ? how about it Jim or others I was given 3 new ones but I don't know anybody running series 60 EGR engines that needs one and I don't if they even will work on a 60 series
good luck
The guys at Covington (now Clark) say it is backwards compatible. It connects to the J1708 data lines so I think it should work with DDEC III, IV and probably II. It may not have all the functions it would with V up. Here are the links to the all the manuals.

Send me one up Clifford and I'll try on my DDEC 3....... :) :) :) :)
Clifford would those work on my '05's ? I'm pretty sure they are EGR engines as we just spent about $3000 dollars having a EGR and whatever goes with it replaced.
;D BK ;D
I am trying to find out BK they were ordered for the DD15 engines
good luck
Clifford,
I am running a ProDriver DC with a 1995 DDEC III S60. Wired right into the old harness, not one issue.
Richard, what software version are you running for the DDEC III with the ProDriver DC ? I was thinking about trying to load the ProDriver 3.0 software in the DC model I don't know if you can do that or not
good luck
The coach is stored remotely, I will look this weekend and get back to you on the software rev number.
