The FASS (Fuel Air Separation System) comes highly rated by Pittsburg Power Products and Gene Russell. Does anyone have any experience with these? They claim significant fuel burn reductions and power increases, at least on 4 strokes.
Mark, I installed one on the motorhome 2 weeks ago drove it Scottsdale Wed frankly I think it wasted 500 bucks I bought mine from the Dieselstore.com
good luck
Clifford what engine does that little MH have in it, Cat or Cummins? I currently have a 382 fuel processor on the Silverside plus a regular spin on secondary. Going to take off the secondary when we put the 6L71TA in. Thinking about a 12V aux pump in addition, just in case when changing elements. Gene recommended the FASS for that, but awful spendy unless it produces results. Also don't know about the fuel pressure when working with the stock fuel pump.
Whatya think? There is a couple of youtube videos showing the FASS in action.
A Duramax Mark the unit sells for 900 bucks he sold it to me for 500 to try one and give him the results so far not good for me filters are over 20 bucks each fwiw
good luck
You don't have to use the FASS filters. They have a cross reference sheet to enable using Wix, Baldwin, etc. They just try to get you to use theirs.

OK, that makes my BS meter move way over towards the peg right there. Some products with such claims are about a real as a stripper's 44 Double/E's, others are just stretching the truth. But the idea that you can cover the cost of a $900 (even reduced to $500) unit is usually hard to justify.
They kind of market it towards OTR trucking, the big high fuel flow engines like C-16 and ISX. Talking about 4/10 of a MPG improvement and starting a lot easier in cold weather, etc. But a lot of guys with the hot rod diesel pickups are into them too. You can get them for around half of that 900 buck list price.
The system is just not working out for me maybe on a 20,000lb common rail system you could see a difference,I plan on removing it and returning it, he new nothing about the system and has no problem with me returning it he just wanted me to try one and see if was as good as all the hype it wasn't lol
good luck
