Title: Earthquake in OK
Post by: Brassman on November 05, 2011, 10:15:43 PM
Speaking as one who lives in earthquake country: a 5.6 magnitude at a depth of 5 km depth surely woke people up in OK City. That one happened at 10:53 pm.

I hope everyone is alright, and if need be, your bus is ready for a campout.

Im 200 miles east of Sparks, we had lights and wall hangings swinging and clanging, everything rattling and the whole house was shaking.  Largest quake in OK history. Copy on the hoping everyone is alright, this is a pretty significant earthquake.

Yeah, if you're close to that one things are broken. Pipes fractured, foundations cracked, windows broken, brick chimmineys toppled, and all those knick-knacks are on the floor.
