Title: 8V71 SAE 2 bellhousing/rear cover
Post by: bevans6 on November 01, 2011, 12:22:23 PM
I have this really nice aluminium rear engine cover that was on my military engine.  I measured it and it is SAE 2, as far as I can tell.  It's not very deep over the flywheel.  Is it good for anything, or do I take it to the metal salvage and sell it for scrap?  It has to be 50 lbs of clean aluminium.

I used to use military engines in non military applications and I'm 99% sure scrap is the best value.
