I have led bulbs in the rear and standard bulbs in the front, and a heavy duty flasher. Before I left Gene's I thought I had a bad bulb because when I would put the right flasher on the dash light stayed lit with no flash. Outside the right front didn't seem on, and the back right was dim but on steady. (The left side works fine, dash and front and rear) I said I would fix it when I got home, because the lens is held in with GE silicone and I would have had a mess there in the fields in North Carolina.
I made it home without incident, this afternoon I used an exacto knife and I removed the outer lens. I thought I would find a burned out bulb, instead I found a dimly lit bulb ( staying on), so there is power to the light bulb. But I am not sure why it is not blinking. Can any of the electrical experts out there give me a clue as to what to look for and check?
Thanks in advance.

I just read something the other day that a standard flasher might not work right with LED's. Something about not enough current through the LED's.
I guess I should clarify this set-up. These lights have worked just like they are installed for a few years. It was just recent that one side has decided not to blink but stay on in a dim mode.

Ground wire or corroded bulb socket sides or center contact. Happened to me all the time so now I give them all a good coat of Corrosion X.

That was my first thought, too.
Dave,
Glad to see you made it home. I hope no problems. It was nice visiting you with at John & Lois'. First thing is to check all grounds and bulb contacts (both bulb body and center contact(s). Jack
Dave -
Besides checking all the grounds, as suggested, you might try replacing the flasher unit with a new one.
But before you do that, what happens when you turn on the 4-way flashers? Do they all flash properly?
Had a car once that did that - flashed fine on one side, stayed on on the other. All bulbs were fine. Replaced flasher, everything worked again.
FWIW & HTH. . .
;)
You can check flasher bulb condition by checking the brake lights if they use the same bulbs, most do.
