we have been looking for a motorhome and found one found on cragislist 7 miles from a bus nut friends house .he was on vacation at the time but his son in law looked at it. and we bought it sight unseen just pictures and lots of phone calls [we and our bus are in costarica ]
well coach is now at friends house and have been told we got a great deal road trip being planned .to fly up to get it . its a very rare

Did you buy the one in El Cajon Ca ?,we looked at a 36 ft for sale in Nev with a dual rear axle the price wasn't bad 10 grand but the Ford engine was a deal stopper for us the owner said it was 10mpg 5 going 5 coming with no wind, they are neat

no this one was in ga. the owner looked all over for one .then found this one in indiana and then wife got sick never got to use it. its the duel axel model fully loaded its got the ford 460 john said we stole it paid $ 3500 still trying to post pics john
Yep the 460 was one the reasons we didn't buy the other I do not like the Mor/Ryde suspension he was asking 10 grand and he sold it for 5 we heard 10,800 miles on it

I had a Coachmen motorhome with a ford 460 in it and it was supposed to get 7 MPG, but I never got over 5. It the way of the beast. They love petro.
My uncle had a coachmen mh with the 460 and it got better mileage than his same size 2 yr newer coachmen w/350 chevy! Go figure. He wished he'd kept the 1st one as is was better on fuel and handled on the hiway better.

Our Ford camper van with a 351 EFI and overdrive transmission got 8 mpg at 65 mph anything over 65 was around 5 or 6
