Fellows,
Hargreaves posted several weeks ago that he and his wife were leaving Vancouver, BC for an extended trip in their bus. Has anyone heard from them or know there whereabouts. Just wondering how their trip is going and how the bus is performing?
Doug
Hi Doug, The trip went very well , went across I 90 to Kalamazoo to visit our daughter.continued on all the way to New York. Up 95 through Boston into Maine , up into New Brunswick, PEI, Back down through Quebec and down the St Lawrence, Through Toronto and back into Michigan to revisit our daughter and install the new Cruise King cruise control. (don't know why I waited so long) That was the best thing I have done to the bus next to putting in and automatic.
Back up to hwy 2 all the way home. No problems with the bus except for one drive axle gasket. Used 12 quarts of oil and got an average of 6.34 miles per gallon. Logged 8,500 miles.
It was a very successfull and fun trip once my copilot (wife) and I got on the same wave length with the GPS.LOL. Gerry.
