I was watching the WEATHER CHANNEL and they mentioned SNOW above 6,000 feet. Anybody traveling
out there be safe.
Steve 5B.....
Yeah, they said last night on the local news that we should drop 40 degrees from yesterdays temp of 70 with the snow level lowering to around 6k feet. I'm at about 4600 feet so we should just get a bunch of rain. The passes though may be tricky.
It is just rain in Flagstaff on I 40 and Flag is 7000 ft
good luck

They're saying we should get some snow in Flag come Thursday night or Friday morning, but they don't expect it to accumulate in town. The mountains should be nice though.
Looks like we might be in for another big winter here in the west. Good news for us skiers! Here is the view this morning in Lee Vining CA. Looks like climbing season may be done here. Time to head south for a bit.

We were glad to get out of Nevada and Utah before the snow started. We went through a bad snow storm this time two years in Utah and Wyoming. We were driving 25 to 30 MPH as the roads were not in good shape.
2 days ago I had the air conditioner running. Last night and today the heater is on! Rain blowing sideways all morning lol

We had hoped for the ability to up and head south when we wanted and north again in the spring in the coming future. Now it looks like I'll be the guy greeting the rest of you when you come into Walmart in my golden years. I'll be gazing longingly out in the parking lot at your buses and being very jealous.
"Hi, welcome to Walmart"
Nice parking spot, Steve. I'll have to find out where that one is when I see you next. Drive safe. No Eagle yet, eh?
Mark,
It is a sweet place to park, we have pushed the season here and that is OK but with 12+ inches of snow in the high country it will be time to go when this storm blows through. This spot may be a bit tight for your '45 but the Silversides would fit quite well.
Nope no Eagle, we got really close on the Medford one, but the interior color scheme just killed it in the end. I do have a line on one in AZ so we shall see how that goes. I must say it is a bit hard to think of selling the '06 now that I have the bugs worked out of it!
Steve
Took the Jeep up to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon yesterday and just as we were leaving it started raining and had some hail mixed in with it. Got back to the park in St. George and Michael said that it had hailed here too. Been raining today since about noon.
7200 feet in Laramie, WY tonight. Couple of showers on the way into town but (so far) no snow. We're glad to have Nebraska in the rearview mirror. A very wise man told me yesterday that if you had a farm in Nebraska and a home in hell then you'd just as well sell the farm and stay home. He was right.
