I'm looking for suggestions on what wire channel people have used on the interior of their bus. I'm interested in running 12 volt d.c. wire for overhead lights and was looking for a product to hide it...suggestions?
I think we need more info on your question. Exposed or concealed ?
This is for overhead lighting and the dc wiring would run on the surface.
There are numerous forms of wiremold and trim that would work for a surface mount. Is there a reason that you can't conceal it? The method you use will should be decided by the finishes you are working with and what will work best with them.
Good Luck,
Mike
I like the idea of doing a small hinged box at floor level for water lines and at the corner where the ceiling meets the wall for electrical lines. The two hinged boxes would run the full length of the coach and then all wiring and water lines would be easy to get to.
Most wiring is hardly ever needed to be accessed once its run but it would be smart to run some rope or string along with existing wires in case you want to pull others thru later on.
Happy do you have pictures of this hinged box?
