I have a 60/50 Vanner in our '67 MC 5A. The headlight/taillight/marker lights are running off of the 12 Volt "lug"
on it. It has a 4 light headlight system. I think that's all I'm using the 12 Volt "lug" for. I don't have a clue how much power I'm drawing. I need, max, 30 Amps more of 12 Volt power. Should I use the "lug" or should I take the power from the 12 Volt post in the 2/12 Volt batteries in series ?

If your batteries and the Vanner equalizer are all connected as MCI connected them when the bus was built you can take the 12 volts off the battery post or the Vanner.
I prefer the battery post just because of accessibility and the fact I am not adding additional load to the Vanner cable.
