My son said they are suppost to be trying to drift a S&S and a Bus as well as some other vehicles. Anybody else watching this? It just started, I havent saw the previews, Im just going off of what a 10 yr old told me. ;D
They were able to drift a limousine and a food truck, but no luck on the S&S or the bus.

^^^as crazy as that is its not technically a drift.
If anyone would like to let me borrow there bus I would like to try to drift one. ;D
Eric
So, excuse my ignorance: What is "technically a drift"?
as described on the tv show. Sliding a vehicle sideways WITHOUT loosing forward movement.
And IMO you should have control of what the vehicle is doing. Not just locking up the rear breaks and cutting the wheels. Anyone can do that lol.
We do this in the racing that I do at certain tracks, we use the throttle to control the skid or slide.
I got snowed in at 4-H camp one year and took the ol' '95 Setra S217 out in the empty parking lot across the road from the camp & did a couple 180's and donuts! And that was on the power not the brakes! (the kids all thought it was "way cool", some of the counselors were as impressed!)
;D BK ;D
Hmm, Sounds like a good excuse for a rally in the winter lol

Shi#ies in a Bus? LOL LOL. Thats funny.
I saw the previews for the show and it looked like it was going to be good. Went to watch it and the next thing I know they are playing a video game so I changed the channel. I hate video games.
That show is just about a waste of time. On the other hand the british Top Gear is the best show on TV. In my opinion.
I've seen that video before. What impresses me the most is the confidence that the spectators have in the buses and drivers.
