Title: primus parts
Post by: JLL on August 27, 2011, 04:14:06 PM
Hey guys
The pump on my 20 year old primus heater finally quit on me.  Does any body know where I can buy parts for primus base board heaters.

Do you mean the Swedish Primus company, well known for its camping stoves?   If so, there's a small outfit in Tustin CA that sells parts for Optimus and (also, I think) Primus stoves  -  I bought a complete assortment of spares from them for my Optimus Nova and 00 stoves a few years ago.   Maybe they can help you?   Sorry I can't remember their name for now, but if I find it I'll post it here for you.   There's some familial relationship between Optimus and Primus, so maybe there's also some parts inter-availability?

Would a compatible pump be available elsewhere, such as from Grainger or MSC?   What sort of pump is it, and what does it do?
