Title: How many of us Bus Nuts are there?

On the "News" bar at the top of some www.busconversions.com (http://www.busconversions.com) pages, it says:

"1,776 Members as of April 6, 2008."

On other pages, it states: "500 Members as of May 5th, 2006."

then if you click on the "Members" link, you find out that we are: "3134 total members."

Awesome!

I figure that there are some who signed up to this great board, asked a question or two, and have never been back. Maybe a few others have graduated to the world beyond, and forgot to tell us. A few people, because of current fuel prices and bus maintenance costs, have sold their bus, and gone back to tent camping. Maybe even others have put their bus project on standby, but will be back sooner or later.

So of the 3,134 current forum members, how many have actually shown signs of life during the last 12 months?

Hard to say, look at how many show up for a meet (some meets a handful, others, hundreds).  One club in particular has 160+ members but usually only 10% even show up to a club sponsored event.  Then you have all the scienic cruisers, the buffalo's, the GM's, Silver Sides, Flixibles ... the numbers are ... who knows.

Impossible to pick or take a number.

Going to be (maybe) an ex-busnut... :(  Can't afford to take my Prevost anywhere with diesel here in Indiana @ $3.74. really hating it too, after spending over 3K on tires.
Been thinking of getting one of those little Cortez's from the late '60's, or maybe just get a Teardrop trailer, or just go "RVing" in my little PT Cruiser...

^^^ where abouts in IN are you from?

I will sit it out for number 191... thats the number that I have been running on the race cars.   19 for my oldest sons first initial and 1 for my youngest sons first initial.

I always wanted to know how many actual members we had I know we lost some when you had to agree to the new terms but they never reset the counter but I am sure the new members out way the lost members, anyway Richard is smiling he always wanted 2000 members and never saw it before he passed

You know how they say that one human year = one dog year? I believe there is probably a similar equation for comparing, say, one human male year to 0.623843 human female years, after said female passes the age of 29.

You probably already know this as well, but the ten happiest years of a woman's life are from age 28 to age 29.

Looks like we have three kinds of nuts.......those actually traveling and living the life!, the 2nd are the text fanatics who spend their time on here.......3rd......those actually working on theirs!  I've never made it to the first group, the 2nd group sometimes.......the 3rd faction......well, i'm headed outside now..!    If you must know I survived the treatments, my strength is back.(the new and current PSA > 0.06).....and work has officially resumed!
