I would of liked to see the pic.....
Bob are you useing a pic hosting site like photobucket etc, or directly from your computer?
You didn't forget to zip up your fly again did you? :D :D
will try again when patientce and mind is clearer. tried straight from computer. have done from photobucket. Didn't understand Lock? Just got in from fun week. worn out... Thanks Bob
It happens that way some times, I never had any luck sending them from my Pc either, now it's PB for me, at least it didn't get relocated to the OT's ;D ;D
Beats me why it was locked Bob. But I just unlocked it.
Like the others said though, there is no pick showing on it.
So many of today's camera's take really huge photos (a good thing most of the time). Even scaling them down to 25% of their original size can make for a photo too big to post directly in the forum as an attachment. But when that happens, I think you get a warning message that the attachment size was too big and have to hit the submit button again to proceed without it. So I'm sure you would have noticed that.
As others also referenced, PhotoBucket (and other similar sites) are really handy at getting around this size limit. Personally, I like PhotoBucket best. It will take care of resizing automatically (800x600 is a perfect size for posting in the forum) and gives you several choices of pre-made links to use where you want the photo to go (IMG is what you use for putting in a forum post). Just click the appropriate link type and it copies that link to your computers "clipboard". Then you go to the forum post you are creating and paste it there ( several ways to paste, pressing the CTRL key and the V key at the same time is my preferred method). Perhaps best of all, PhotoBucket's free account is all most will ever need.
hth,
Mike
Hey Bob, good luck with the pics. I wish I knew how to run this computer for pics to post here. I can send them from pic site to e/mail but everything else is a crapshoot.
This short video should give you some hints on picture posting. ;)

Clifford,
You can not cut and paste, you need to Upload the pictures from you computer to PB after creating your New Album.
(https://busconversionmagazine.com/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi363.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Foo78%2FDreamscape_Eagle%2FPB%2520Upload%2FPBUpload.jpg&hash=e8d01f4aca7d69d2ddc0f10a7c8062bc9c570333)
Then you choose, hold down the CTRL to select multiple photos, then click open for the Upload to begin.

After the Upload has finished, you can add a Title and Description.

Then you hover your mouse over the picture you want to post, select IMG at the bottom of the box, click to copy, then paste the code into the post.
