The best thing to do is mix the coolant/water and when it is full you will know your exact amount for your bus, most buses have so many modifications the original capacity is no longer accurate.

Dezi;
If you still have antifreeze in it, drain into a child's pool. Now measure across and how deep the level is. Put the numbers into the cylinder calulator and it will tell you how much. Make sure it shows in the site glass before you drain it.

Sight glass? It was drained last week and run on straight water for 500 miles.

Thomas,

Unlike Dave's MCI, your 4106 doesn't have a sight glass. Since the filler is at eye level (also unlike Dave's MCI), you can just peek in to check the level.

The book calls for 92 quarts, including the heating system, subtracting GMBusguy's 8 quarts would give you 84 quarts. Probably a pretty good approximation with which to start.
