Why don't you just go get one and then prove to the board what you say???? ::) Tell Sonja that you need it for comparison to the Prevost! ;D

I got one all picked out, "now what did I do with last nights lottery tickets?"

Here is the link:  http://editorial.autos.msn.com/driving-the-dollar156m-newell-p2000i-rv?icid=autos_1993&GT1=22034 (http://editorial.autos.msn.com/driving-the-dollar156m-newell-p2000i-rv?icid=autos_1993&GT1=22034)

It's nice sure (at that price it ought to be) but I cannot stand those elephant ear mirrors, I don't care if they come from Spain or not, they are ugly.

good luck

I like how the picture of the Cummins engine makes it look much taller than the person next to it!

I like the article.
My neighbor works in the paint shop and shared some cool stories with me.
I sold a motorcycle to the guy who lives on the grounds, he had some cool stories

I really don't think much about them , guess I've lived here all my life and just drove by , drooled and kept heading down the road.

"One customer wanted a bigger kitchen, so now he tows a 38-foot, 40,000-pound restaurant-quality galley. His rig thus extends more than 83 feet, and he can't back up. But his burgers are awesome."

And we fuss about a 20' trailer...  pshaw!

I would just as soon have my Eagle and the 1.5 for fuel.
We are setting at a nice RV park in Buffalo Wyoming right now, lots of nice s&s, all the old guys driving them all want to talk about the Eagle.
Matt

now a MCI J4500 might be a different story.

The wife and I have at times discussed this (winning the lottery and purchasing a new Newell) and we both share your same opinion.  Keep the bus, spend the cash.  A friend of mine who has an Eagle says the same thing.  So you see, you are right in there with the rest of the bunch.

After careful consideration and considerable thought on the matter, we have decided to take the winnings and do the right thing with them, and not fritter the bonus away.

We will spend it on wine, women and song ... the rest of it we will just blow.

Long ago, I learned there are two major disappointments in life.  #1 is wanting something that you do not have.  #2 is getting what you always wanted.  I do just fine with Daddy's Hobby, it doesn't have a lot of slides, Maui-Wowie-Teaky Wood, 42" plasma televisions and whoopie-doo's and swirls down the side.

But it is paid for and it works for me.

I would be (as you already know Clifford) a pair of brown shoes in a tuxedo world when it comes to Newell's and the folks who drive them.  They all want to be stinkin rich ... All I want is to smell bad.

Have a good weekend Sport.

Quite true.  I remember one time in my youth, oh she was so beautiful, smart, had a good job, I thought about her night and day ... And then we spent some time together.

Later on came sickbay and all those horrible shots!

Have a great weekend.
