I have been playing with the 4103, Got the injectors unstuck and reinstalled, getting smoke and running rough, a heat sensor pointed at the exhaust manifold tells me 3 cylinders are hitting 3 are not. 5 injectors are HV-6's, one is a 60, I hope the odd ball one is not the reason for the "slapping" sound I hear. ;)
I think the 671 is an old generator power unit. I did not run the rack when I reinstalled the injectors, I have an old Detroit guy who is going to help me tune her in a week or so.
I read somewhere you cannot use the later injectors in the earlier head that came stock with HV injectors. Anyone know of a source for 3 HV-6's ? A long shot here I know but I thought some old bus nut might just have some laying around and be willing to sell them . I would like to drop 3 good ones in, set them and see what I have before sinking much money in the engine..
Meanwhile took the 4104 on a little spin this week, love that bus!!
Thanks
Rick
