I have a 4kw propane generator that the PO mounted back by the engine on the right side of the bus. Someday when i have the money i am going to take it out and replace it. The way it sits right now, to access anything on that side i have to lay on the top of the generator on my chest and there isn't a lot of room to do anything.

I keep my generator in the AC condenser bay.  it's not a permanent mount, I take it out if i am going to run it for more than a few minutes, since it is an air cooled portable Yamaha 3000 watt inverter type..

i mounted a 7500 watt gas genny in the old a/c compartment, with a 30 gallon tank mounted where the large heater core and a/c core used to be in front of the forward compartment.
