Post by: desi arnaz on July 04, 2011, 05:06:44 PM
i have a 4106 with an Allison 3 speed cranny i cannot get her into reverse without going outside with the vice-grips and moving the lever in the direction of the front of the bus.i am thinking that the linkage casing may of slipped when my shifter broke off in my hand. anyone with a idea what i should do?

talked with luke, he told me to adjust the linkage a little. this did not work...i did find the problem though....it was the paddle that attaches to the tranny was backwards and slipping on the bolt. i also had to change the position of the U bolt farther back to get things in the proper place...
